How to Cook a Frozen Banquet Chicken
ConAgra foods manufactures Banquet Chicken, a convenient pre-fried chicken with a crispy coating. The chicken is completely cooked, but you must heat it properly before serving it. Banquet chicken is available in several varieties, including original, Country Style, Hot 'N Spicy, Southern and Skinless. According to the label, Banquet chicken is fried in partially-hydrogenated vegetable oil and contains a large amount of sodium and a variety of preservatives. However, the chicken also contains large amounts of potassium, as well smaller amounts of several vitamins and minerals. Although Banquet chicken may be heated in the microwave, a conventional oven produces better results.

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Place the frozen-chicken pieces evenly on a shallow baking sheet. To ensure even cooking, place the smaller pieces in the center of the baking sheet with the larger pieces on the outer edge.
Step 3
Place the baking sheet in the center rack of your oven. Bake the chicken until it's hot and crispy -- about 50 minutes.

Step 1
Line a large, microwave-safe plate with paper towels. Place the smaller pieces in the center of the plate and the larger pieces toward the outside.
Step 2
Microwave the chicken pieces on high for six to seven minutes. Turn the chicken pieces over, and then continue cooking the chicken for an additional six to seven minutes.
Step 3
Reduce the entire cooking time to about four minutes if you're cooking only one chicken breast. Cook one thigh for two to three minutes, or one drumstick for one to two minutes.
Step 4
Remove the chicken carefully from the microwave oven. Allow the chicken to sit for three to four minutes before serving it.
