Side Effects of Green Tea Triple Fat Burner
The Green Tea Triple Fat Burner diet supplement from Applied Nutrition contains three different kinds of teas -- black, white and green -- as well as vitamins and caffeine. The company claims that the combination of the three teas in its formula help to promote weight loss. Diet supplements and medications often include stimulants, particularly caffeine, which does help to decrease your appetite. However, the Food and Drug Administration does not oversee and regulate supplements such as this product, so the claims of the manufacturer may or may not represent scientific fact. Always seek your physician's advice before starting the use of a supplement.

You may feel more anxious than you usually do if you use the Green Tea Triple Fat Burner supplement, largely because of the effects of the caffeine stimulant contained therein. Caffeine stimulates your central nervous system, which can produce such mental conditions as anxiety. It also may produce other effects upon your nervous system, such as irritability and nervousness, Drugs.com reports. Even though these side effects do not constitute serious health problems, and they probably will go away as you use the supplement soft gels more, you should consider querying your physician about them if they trouble you.
Gastric Disturbances
Applied Nutrition lists vitamin C, or ascorbic acid, as one of the product's main ingredients. In two soft gels, the recommended dose, you get 140 mg of vitamin C, the company says. This vitamin can produce disturbances in your digestive system, although in most cases they classify as nonserious and temporary. You may feel queasiness in your stomach that may make you vomit, Drugs.com indicates. Nausea also may occur because of other ingredients such as niacin. You may experience a sensation of heartburn because of the vitamin, and you may develop cramps in your stomach. Vitamin C also may cause mild diarrhea. You most likely will notice these side effects recede and disappear as you use the Green Tea Triple Fat Burner supplement more. If the effects remain or feel severe, speak with a doctor.
Flushing
The niacin in Green Tea Triple Fat Burner may cause you to experience flushing, RxList.com says. The most common side effect of niacin in a clinical study reported by RxList.com was flushing, a sudden reddening of the skin accompanied by a sensation of warmth and potentially sweating. This study, which focused on niacin alone, reported these findings in higher doses of niacin than occur in this green tea supplement. However, flushing may occur with lower doses.
Arrhythmia
Any stimulant entering your body, including those found in this product, can cause a change in your heart's rhythm, Drugs.com indicates. This arrhythmia, associated with green tea, can manifest as a change in the regularity of your heart rate. If you experience a sensation of heartbeats skipping, consult your physician immediately, because any change in your heartbeat can potentially cause serious health problems.
